Crossover Camp 2015: A New Experience

It was an awesome experience to be a part of this year's Crossover Camp and was able to mingle and get acquainted with the young professionals in this nation. The group we call ‘Crossover’ is composed of young professionals in the pursuit of God's heart for the marketplace to produce true disciples that will bring transformation to the nation. Fellow accountants, engineers, IT professionals, architects, teachers, among others, gathered in this unstoppable  annual three-day big event held in CCT Tagaytay. Of course, this is the best summer experience anyone could ever have.  The Crossover Camp is new to me as this is my first time to participate. How I wish I have known this few years back. My life could have been even better if I have met this good people who can bring out the best in me in the past few years.

The Expectations. To meet new people, gain new friends, enjoy the food, relax away from busy city of the metro, learn new things and stay connected with God.

The Challenge. There has been a challenge for me in joining the camp. My schedule won’t permit me in attending the first day of the camp for the Batch 1 and Batch 2 because I have a work at that day and I couldn’t afford to take a vacation leave due to a very critical business demand. I have informed my leaders that I won’t be joining for some valid reasons. But I was given an option to attend the second and third day of the camp. And so I did.  And I have attended the Batch 1. That Friday late afternoon, right after my work shift, I headed my way to Tagaytay alone. I asked for an instruction on how to get there from one of the delegates. And yes, I made it to the Crossover Camp 2015, the best summer experience ever!

The Experience. I couldn’t say a thing. The experience was great. I gained friends. I knew people from different industries. I learned from people’s experiences. I met new friends within the same profession and industry. There were fun-filled games that can teach a lesson. Indeed, a perfect avenue for me to be with people who will bring out the best in me, unleash my potential, be the excellent person this world could ever have and most importantly, gets me closer to God. I really enjoyed the praise and worship night as I gave out the best praise and worship to our Lord and our savior. I may have missed the first day but the overall experience was extraordinary.  I wouldn’t expound much in detail the things that were done and taught in the camp as it may spoil the excitement you may have. And I just would like to encourage those young professionals out there to get involved in something like this as this is a great help in one’s life.

The Learnings. And yes, I learned a lot. Speakers were high-caliber professionals with humble beginnings, nourished by the word of God and made their a living testimony of how Jesus work in their lives. Learning is fun and helps me prepare in the battlefield called ‘marketplace’. At some point in my life, I realized my purpose in this world and that I live to walk and work with God in fulfilling the ministry’s vision of winning souls and making disciples. I believe that there are numerous lost souls in the marketplace and I will never be silent. As the theme goes: ‘We will not be silent’, we are the catalyst of transformation in our respective marketplace, as we share the good news of salvation and bring every lost soul back to God.

The Calling. I know God called you. You are not in this page for nothing. You are not reading this post for nothing. God has a purpose in your life. He is waiting for you. Talk to Him. Get connected with Him. Don’t get lost. You know where to go. We will help you. We are here.  Wherever you are right now, whatever situations you are in, it is not too late to lead your way back to God.
God is calling you to attend the Crossover. Schedules are as follows:
Crossover Manila
PBS, United Nations, Manila
Wed and Thu, 7:00 pm

Crossover Makati
Makati Square
Wed 7:00 pm

My Version 2.0

NOON. It was close to a perfect life daw.

But I was totally wrong.

Bohol Earthquake

At bukas, umpisahan mo na ang tinatawag nilang ‘Move on’ o ‘Change for the better’.

TIRADOR: Isang Kwento Tambay 2

Haha.

Muli, maraming salamat, Pasadoako.com!

TIRADOR: Isang Kwentong Tambay 1
